"The Godfather": How Not to Treat Women
Some films give good training and helpful tips and simultaneously are awful for other reasons.
"The Godfather" for example. Girls... even in my angriest evilest second I would never treat you like every girl almost is treated in that movie.
Sonny is unfaithful to the extreme. He got what he deserved.
Michael is horrible on a thousand levels.
First, he vanishes into thin air with not a word to Kay, and they're both very in love.
She is being rebuffed as I type by his asshole brother Tom the good lawyer and strategist. Michael couldn't say something to her? Not a word? She who loves him is so untrustworthy he can't tell her where he went and why?
Awful.
Then, he forgets about her as soon as he sees another hot girl in Italy. He can't speak Italian with her at all. But she's hot so he has to marry her to have sex with her because it's 1946 in rural Italy so she can't just fuck him and move on.
She has to marry him and then... I don't wanna say.
Michael, alone again, says "oh hell I'll go see Kay" when he gets back. Barely apologizes I can't remember. Not there yet.
Begins then an awful marriage. She trying in every possible way to be decent and he not there. Not caring. Not anything good except financially.
Vito, the Godfather, might be an alright husband but who knows. In Part II he is younger and they seem happy together. That's them in the photo. Carmela is her name.
Except they have kids. And having children is as smart as sticking your whatever in a 240 volt outlet.
