Dear James,

I started to read your NYPost piece about revenge being a dangerous addiction but stopped after less than 50 words.

Some "addictions to" (enjoyment of) are bad because the enjoyment causes an unhealthy side effect. Like main-lining heroin. Bad for the body.

Other so called addictions, like sex, are great and don't deserve the slander. What's the side effect of having sex all day except a smile?

Your idea that revenge is dangerous to the party dishing it out is equally dumb. How is me repaying past insults unhealthy for me? It's unhealthy for them! I love it. Revenge keeps me of a warrior mindset. It keeps those who would otherwise think they beat me from doing so or trying it again. And it keeps me satisfied their favor was returned in spades.

That's a healthy mentality. Taking it in the ass against your desire and then not getting satisfactory retaliation is asking for an ulcer. Or cancer. Or some other disease of unspent aggression.

Tell a woman who survived a rape to "suck it up".

No. I tell them "cut his cock off".

Anger's gotta go someplace. Best place for it is back at the person who caused it.

A double dose so they don't repeat their error.

As you try to profit off your Yankee idea remember: "vengeance is delicious".
