The stare-down is mental arm wrestling

When you look at an enemy and they look at you, each has an idea in mind how it's going to go. You have to maintain the momentum. The opposite of tug of war. Your killer thought must triumph above theirs. You maintain your superiority. You hold the physical position. You hold the stare. And you get you killer energy into their, head. You make them scared. You defeat them. You control the line of sight. You make them retreat. Run away. Flee. In mind and body. That's how you hold a hill.
