Judge of My Criminal Case and Jury of the Civil One,

I am a client of the Cases program. My representative is Harsha. 

After 10 days of leaving voicemails and sending texts to others in the organization, without known remedy, I am emailing the whole building.

Dear Harsha,

I am supposed to meet with you tomorrow, time unremembered. I am requesting to change the appointment day.

When I was ordered by the judge to meet with your organization I WAS LIVING IN NEW YORK CITY.

I am no longer living in New York City. I am living in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and have been since before Christmas. That's ~500 miles as the train travels.

MY NEXT COURT APPEARANCE IS JANUARY 28 AND COME HELL OR HIGH WATER I WILL BE THERE.

But I cannot afford, to stay, in New York City, for THE TWO WEEKS PRIOR merely to say hello to you for 15 minutes.

By your intransigence and seeming deliberate punishment, you are asking me to be homeless so as to fulfill your check-in requirement.

I am under the impression that you, have the flexibility to schedule me to visit twice any time during a given month. I am also under the (perhaps false) impression that you can schedule me for phone check-ins, or fewer in-person ones (subpoena).

NEITHER OF WHICH YOU'VE BEEM WILLING TO DO. To assert your authority like this you've made it a personal matter, beyond the remit of your job.

In December you had arranged for me to meet with you Wednesday December 10 and Friday December 12, so I could return home the next Monday. On December 10 you refused to see me, and told me to come in Monday the 15th, the day you knew I was leaving. 

When I didn't show up, you reported me.

Therefore I will hold Cases legally responsible, should your requirement-by-innaction, cause me to be sanctioned by the court for not attending future meetings.

I am requesting here in good faith that you work with me to address this matter.

I spoke with Sara Ramos yesterday. 347-885-6**2, and gave her the basics of the above. You did not return my call. And she refused to give me your number despite you allowing me to have it.

I left voicemails with K/Catherine Ramos this week and last week, and sent her texts this week, also documented as similar. She did not respond.

I have left voicemails in three different Cases mailboxes this week also, with only one return call from Ms. S. Ramos and no answer to my concern.

It is obvious you do not want to address my indigence and the logistical difficulty it places on me to fulfill my court obligation.  My current balances in my two bank accounts are...

HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO STAY OFF THE STREET WITH $100?

For an organization supposed to assist its desperate clients navigating the legal system, you're doing a poor job of it.

The cost of living in hotels in New York City was, frugally, $5000 a month throughout the year 2025 (see exhibit Y) 

That doesn't add up to me being able to afford the two week window (not including whatever you demand for February).

I have secured the promise of funding to attend the hearing on the 28th. The cost for the train ticket AND TEN DAYS OF RESIDENCE. From January 25th until February 3.

Those ten days, and how the days fall on the calendar, make it scheduley possible for me to check-in as you (unreasonably) require twice, for both months, January and February, during that time.

YOU ARE HEREBY INFORMED THAT IF YOU DO NOT MAKE A REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION AND THEN REPORT ME FOR VIOLATIONS, CASES IS GETTING SUED. AFTER THIS IS OVER THIS, AND WILL GO TO TRIAL WITH ME AS THE PROSECUTOR AND YOUR COMPANY AS THE DEFENDANT.

Please do not allow what began as a friendly repartee in business escalate to the courts.

I will be available to speak with you on the matter by phone, all day.
